8th ANNUAL MILES FOR MATHENY
5K RUN THE EVENT Are you looking for a country run where city life seems far away? If so, look no further than the Miles for Matheny 5K Run in picture postcard Peapack- Gladstone and Chester. A quaint village setting and a rolling course through horse country await you. And, when you finish, you are urged to ride up the hill to the Matheny Medical and Educational Center for their famous celebration picnic with great food, music and entertainment. You’ll get to meet some of the wonderful Matheny residents and see where your money goes. So bring your running shoes, and if there are cyclists in your family, they may want to try the 12, 23, 32 or 50 mile rides through the local countryside. There is also "The Hills of Attrition" for climbers. Routes 287, 78 or 206 get you there in a flash! In 2007, we moved the 5K start time to 11:00am so you would be able to take advantage of a warmer temperature and enjoy our fabulous picnic at lunchtime. It was fantastic....So, please join us.
