THE EVENT
The 9th Annual Our House 5 Miler will
be here before you know it, and over 500 stalwart runners will attack the
scenic hills of Summit for the 2008 USATF-New Jersey Grand Prix Championship
for Masters Men and Women. A prize money purse of $3,000.00 will be offered,
and the best New Jersey runners will compete for their share.
Why should you run Our House? Well, besides the great course, long-sleeved
Tee, super giveaways and terrific refreshments, we can't think of any
good reason. But many of our previous runners will return for the high
quality and great fun.
So join us on Sunday, May 4th in picturesque Summit, which is easily
accessible by car or train. The Our House 5 Miler, one of New Jersey's
finest races.
Attention Runners: If you can, please arrive early enough to watch our "Everyone's a Winner " race. This short distance event features the special needs young adults and teens for whom the Our House 5 Miler was created. Please cheer them on at 12:30pm.................Thanks!

DIRECTIONS:
From Garden State Parkway & 78 Westbound—GSP to Exit 142. Carefully follow
signs to Rt. 78 West. Take 78W to Rt. 24 West to Exit 8 (Summit Ave.) At
traffic light turn left onto Summit Ave. Continue thru center of town (1 ½
miles), turning left onto Broad St. Follow race signs.
From NJ Turnpike—NJ Turnpike to Exit 14 (Newark Airport/Rt. 78), carefully
follow signs for Rt. 78 West to Rt. 24 West and follow above.
From 78 Eastbound—Rt. 78 East to Exit 45 (Glenside Ave.) Turn left at the
traffic light and continue to first stop sign; continue straight. Take next
sharp left turn up the hill onto Morris Ave. Turn right onto Summit Ave.
Turn right onto Broad St. Follow race signs.
NJ Transit—The Summit Train Station is adjacent to the Village Green (finish
line.)
The Municipal Parking Garage is at the
corner of Broad Street and Summit Avenue. Follow signs.

WHO BENEFITS?
Since 1981, Our House, a non-profit
agency, has provided desperately needed services to people with
developmental and learning disabilities. The goal of Our House is to promote
a high quality of life for these individuals and help them to become
productive members of the community.
Our House operates group homes, supervised apartments, supported living
apartments and a nationally acclaimed employment service program.
The proceeds generated by the Our House 5 Miler through entry fees and
sponsorship will allow the agency to continue its fine work. Call the Our
