WHO BENEFITS?

Visiting Nurse & Homemaker Services, Inc., (VNHS), a voluntary non-profit 501 (c) (3) corporation, is licensed by the New Jersey Department of Health as a Home Health Agency and certified to provide Medicare and Medicaid services.  VNHS was incorporated in 1959 for the purpose of providing in-home service.  Nursing, therapy and homemaker-home health aide services are provided to residents of Burlington and Gloucester counties.

The Agency was founded my members of the Burlington County Medical Society Auxiliary, who identified a need for in-home assistance following a stay in the hospital.  Many elderly and disabled wish to remain independently in their homes and can do so if provided with a minimal amount of in-home support, thereby eliminating the need for a more costly form of care--institutionalization.
