15th ANNUAL RUN FOR RACHEL

 

THE EVENT

The 15th Annual Run for Rachel has something for everyone: the runner, the walker, the kid. Great amenities await the entire family on Memorial Oval in Livingston, NJ. Make sure you are one of the pre-registrants to guarantee that you receive our goodie bag and the 2015 Run For Rachel T-shirt.  And bring the family for our 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk. 900 runners, walkers and kids joined us in 2014.

Livingston is a snap to find, conveniently located between Route 24 and Route 80, a short ride from the Garden State Parkway.

Everything about Run for Rachel is first class. The USATF certified 5K course is quick, challenging and promises a rousing finish. Come run Rachel. A Very Special Event!!!

DIRECTIONS:
From Garden State Parkway—Exit 145 to 280 West. Exit at 5A. Bear right as you exit, traveling along Livingston Ave. Go to 5th traffic light (about 2 ˝ miles.) Turn right into Memorial Park.

From Route 10—Take Rt. 10 East to Livingston Circle. Continue straight on Rt. 10 after the Circle to the 3rd light, South Livingston Ave. Turn right. Continue through 3 more lights to Memorial Park on the right.

From Route 24—Take Exit 7C (Short Hills Mall), traveling north on JFK Parkway. Continue to 4th light, turning left at Memorial Park.

WHO BENEFITS?

The Rachel Coalition, organizers and beneficiary of the Run for Rachel, is a grass roots consortium of nine Northern New Jersey community organizations representing over 10,000 people.

Although the Rachel Coalition was originally formed to address the concerns of Jewish victims of domestic violence, the work and focus has been expanded to serve all ethnic groups living in the suburbs.

The Rachel Coalition provides many vital services in the community, including an emergency Safe House, individual and group counseling, community education and a 24 hour crisis intervention hotline. Please call 973-765-9050 for further information.
