THE EVENT

A most unique experience.  Scenic, rustic, challenging and absorbing.  The ITC Triathlon is like no other.  Start with a 14K mountain bike course over 4 different surfaces.  Transfer to one of 375 identical red canoes to paddle our 4K buoyed course on beautiful Budd lake.  Finish with a 5K run on varied terrain of road, trails and fields, ending at our very special Triathlon Activities Field.

Don't want to go it alone?  We have the answer.... Form a two- or four-person team--divide the effort and share the glory!   Our application has all the details.  Whichever format you choose promises and delivers a thrilling athletic experience filled with obstacles and rewards.

Rewards?  We figure that if you work hard, there should be a payoff.  And we do it right.  The long-sleeved ITC Tri shirt is always a winner.  The boxed lunch gets rave reviews.  Our awards are very special, and the random prize drawing is the best around.  Then there's the goodie bag--You won't believe it!  And we have the Kids' Triathlon, which is a reward in itself.

WHO BENEFITS?

Since its inception in 1997, the ITC Tri has presented a check for net proceeds to Special Olympics New Jersey Area 3. Over 97 percent of the funds that support Special Olympics are raised through corporate sponsorships, individual contributions, campaigns and special events such as The ITC Triathlon.

Most importantly, all Special Olympic programs are offered at no charge to the athletes. So come do the Tri and help some special athletes.
